The Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loans Program is delivered jointly by the Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan and provides financial assistance to help you pay for your post-secondary education. It is important to remember that a student loan is intended to supplement and not replace the financial contribution expected from you and your family.

Recent changes to the student financial assistance program are making post-secondary education more affordable for low and middle-income students, providing more 'free-money' and affordable repayment options.

Who can apply?

You are eligible to apply for student financial assistance in Saskatchewan if you are:

How much financial assistance can I get?

How do I begin repaying my Student Loan?

You must start making payments on your Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loan six months after your last day of studies, whether you have graduated, are no longer studying full-time or are taking time off from your studies.

Remember, once you complete your program you may be eligible for the Graduate Retention Program, a refundable income tax credit rebating up to $20,000 of tuition fees!
